The Devil’s Peanuts: How a Simple Snack Became a Life-or-Death Choice
You decide to negotiate with the devil.
After all, he was the prince of darkness, and he must have some influence or power over Nibiru you hoped...
Maybe he could persuade the Anunnaki to let you go, or use his magic to teleport away.
Or maybe he had some hidden agenda that you could exploit.
"Alright, devil," you say. "What do you want from me? What can you offer me?"
He smiles greedily. "What do I want from you? That's easy. I want that giant bag of peanuts."
You blink. "What? Huh? Peanuts? What do you mean?"
He pointed to the giant size packet of nuts that you had received from the stewardess earlier.
"That's what I mean. I want that bag of nuts. I love peanuts. They're crunchy and roasted and delicious."
Nuts or Nothing: The Peanut Dilemma
You feel a surge of disbelief. "And what can you offer me?"
He leaned closer. "I can offer you a safe and quick return to your destination. I can use my power to pull the space taxi out of Nibiru's orbit and put it back on course. All for a bag of peanuts."
You shake your head in disbelief. "That sounds too easy to be true. And too weird. How do I know you're not lying? How do I know you won't take my peanuts and leave me here?"
He chuckles. "You don't. That's the fun part. You have to trust me, or at least take a chance. Come on, don't be stingy. It's just a bag of peanuts. You don't really need it, do you?"
You hesitate. He was tempting you, and you were tempted. But you also knew he was unpredictable, and you were suspicious.
